Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues on the alt-art borders, surface scratches on the foil stamping, print lines or clouding in the holo pattern, edge whitening from sleeves, and corner dings; common flaws include roller marks on the artwork and minor print dots
Storage. Use penny sleeves with Dragon Shield or Ultimate Guard matte top loaders; store in cool, dry environment away from sunlight to prevent foil oxidation; avoid stacking in binders without top loaders for alt-arts
Authenticity. Verify holo pattern matches official (swirling ice effect unique to Yamato); check card weight (fakes often lighter); scan QR code on back for Bandai hologram verification; inspect font kerning on text and energy cost alignment; graded cards from graded/graded/graded reduce fake risk
